LEAD Forward India is an organization working with the marginalized sections of the society initiated in the late 90’s by Mr. Phillip W. Mock a retired military officer from the United States and a team of leaders.
It was established by Dr. G. Mathew in Tamil Nadu as a collective effort, having its registered office at Chengalpattu. The purpose of the organization is to educate rural poor and develop them as selfless servant leaders to help empower the community in return.
LEAD Forward India having its origin from supporting younger generation from the villages of Villupuram, Cuddalore, Kancheepuram, Vellore and Tanjore Districts and the poorest of the poor families to continue their studies.
It has been striving hard for many years to provide good and quality education to the deserving poor students from all sections of the society particularly to the rural, poor and the Dalits. We are beginning to involve graduates in leadership, for empowerment and their own further leadership development.
The boys and girls are not only economically impoverished families and also some are orphan and semi orphan and few are the children of various victims. The beneficiaries hail from all rural agrarian background irrespective of caste, creed and religion. These boys and girls are the first generation graduates because their parents had never gone to schools.
